Stoke on Trent haulier Barry Proctor Services has fitted four units (Meck Locks) and will fit another eight as it takes delivery of new vehicles later this year. It's a very good system because it stops anyone stealing your vehicle. We've had one theft of a tractor and if it had been fitted with Meck Lock it wouldn't have happened. Hauliers tend to blame police for not doing enough but we don't help ourselves says managing director Barry Proctor.
